Museu Municipal de Pinhel com multimédia pela M&A Digital // Pinhel Municipal Museum with multimedia by M&A Digital

O município de Pinhel acaba de inaugurar o Museu Municipal, um espaço que retrata o território e a história da cidade. Uma vez mais, este é um projeto concebido pela Glorybox, com a parceria da M&A Digital na vertente da multimédia interativa.

Instaladas numa mesa interativa e num ecrã interativo vertical, a M&A Digital desenvolveu duas aplicações multimédia para este fim. A primeira, uma aplicação geral sobre a cidade de Pinhel, dando ênfase a sítios e objetos de interesse. A segunda, uma aplicação sobre a história dos tempos medievais de Pinhel, como é o caso do Castelo de Pinhel, a Batalha de Ervas Tenras, bem como a história dos homens e maquinaria de guerra.

Especialista no desenvolvimento de soluções multimédia integradas, a M&A Digital é também o parceiro de confiança em aluguer e venda de equipamentos. Especializada na instalação de hardware em unidades museológicas, para o Museu Municipal de Pinhel a M&A Digital foi também responsável por esta área, fazendo a instalação de vários equipamentos interativos.

Sediado no antigo Paço Episcopal de Pinhel, o Museu Municipal pretende contribuir para a valorização do património e para a afirmação da cidade enquanto destino turístico. Edificado em 1783 e tendo funcionado como residência de estudantes nos últimos anos, o antigo edifício do Paço Episcopal foi agora recuperado e transformado em Casa da Cultura onde funciona, além do Museu Municipal, um Museu dedicado ao pintor José Manuel Soares e a Biblioteca Municipal.

Para proceder à inauguração deste novo espaço cultural, o município recebeu a visita de Aníbal Cavaco Silva. O Presidente da República participou na visita inaugural e numa posterior sessão solene, com a presença também do Presidente da Câmara Municipal de Pinhel, Rui Ventura. O autarca destacou a importância da inauguração deste Museu, já que a população não tinha acesso à maior parte do seu espólio há cerca de 20 anos.

Com o principal objetivo de atrair novos e variados públicos à cidade, o Museu pretende contribuir para a dinamização da cultura e economia locais. A aposta neste setor de atividade, aliado a uma forte vertente tecnológica, revela-se de extrema importância para o município e traz valor diferenciador para a área museológica, já que esta é uma realidade com que as gentes de Pinhel há muito sonhavam.

The municipality of Pinhel has just inaugurated the Municipal Museum, a space that reflects the territory and the city’s history. Again, this is a project conceived by Glorybox, with the partnership of M&A Digital and it’s interactive digital media branch.

Installed in an interactive table and a vertical interactive screen, M&A Digital has developed two multimedia applications for this purpose. The first, a general application of the city of Pinhel, emphasizing on points and objects of interest. The second, an application about the history of medieval Pinhel times, as in the case of Pinhel Castle, the Battle of Ervas Tenras, as well as the history of war men and machinery.

Specialists in the development of integrated multimedia solutions, M&A Digital is also a reliable partner for the rental and sale of equipment. Specializing in museum hardware installation, M&A Digital was also responsible for this area in the Pinhel Municipal Museum, executing the installation of the various interactive devices.

Based in the former Bishop’s Palace of Pinhel, the Municipal Museum aims to contribute to the enhancement of the heritage and for the affirmation of the city as a tourist destination. Built in 1783 and having operated as a student residence in recent years, the old Bishop’s Palace building has now been restored and transformed into the House of Culture where it operates, besides the Municipal Museum, a museum dedicated to the painter José Manuel Soares and the Municipal Library.

Proceeding with the inauguration of this new cultural space, the city was visited by Aníbal Cavaco Silva. The President participated in the inaugural visit and a subsequent a solemn session with the presence of the Mayor of Pinhel, Rui Ventura. The mayor stressed the importance of opening this Museum, since the population had no access to most of his estate for nearly 20 years.

With the main objective being the need to attract new and varied audiences to the city, the Museum aims to contribute to the revitalization of local culture and economy. The investment in this activity sector, combined with a strong technological component, proves to be extremely important for the city and brings differentiating value to the museum area, as this is a reality with which the people of Pinhel long dreamed.
